| I was watching the game on golf channel and saw the clip.
After the topped drive, he took his driver (again) off the deck, then a wedge to something like 10-15 foot, and he made the par putt.
Maybe he got spooked by the ghost white driver he was using. ha ha

Throwing clubs or crying would not have made him eligible for a mulligan.

Throwing clubs or crying would not have made him eligible for a mulligan. Or getting 'spanked' by his PGA mates for behaving like an annoying brat.

| this is the 2nd time....the first time was when Ernie, Goose, Vijay and Sergio came to SG .....If I remembered correctly Goose top the ball fm tee.......and sergio laugh till rolling on the tee box.
unfortunately, I was not very interested in golf then......as I was just a beginner then.

That's where the pros differentiate themselves from the rest. Scrambling is an art and they are masters of it.

| I have seen Maruyama shanked right on live TV coverage during one of his professional game. Went 90* and he laughed it off though I am very sure he felt dammed embarassed. | |
