As per topic, I would like to know if pasting "home made" indicative stickers on a club head is illegal?
Thanks.

| Posting of any stickers on a club head is unlikely to be illegal. But, what those stickers are is another question. If the stickers contain some form of trademark infringement, then the risk is there. But do you think anyone will notice? I doubt it. | |

| If it states 'home made' , mite not be ok I think. Coz it did not go thru the QC of the Cannayway, Clevage etc etc.......grooves mite be noncompliance, driver mite be too hot.
but then again, I wrote ' Do I care' at the base of my putter.

| which club, where and what does it say on the sticker.
mostly legal unless it improve or alter the club characteristic and this is limit mostly to impact area.
you cannot put the sticker on the face as it will change the movement of the ball. but if you have a sticker on the shaft that indicates a half swing is XX meters, 3/4 swing is YX meters and full swing is ZX meters, its perfectly legal.
similarly if you have a sticker that says, "Hit the GD ball You Idiot!!!" on the shaft, you are within the Rules.
putting a sticker on a putter is mostly permissible unless you alter the toe to heel and face to back distance.
Hope it helps.

Best regards, BruiseLee Just to clear your doubts, pasting a "home-made" number 5 on your 9 iron won't make the ball go any further

| Dear all,
After watching the Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver clip, the guys in the clip mentioned that... 1. It is easier to look at a white Driver / the white crown really stand out 2. Black face and white crown makes you focus more 3. It is easier to square the ball with the white crown 4. White Driver looks COOOOLLLLL
Hence, I wonder should I paste some white stickers on my Driver to help me drive better and whether under the Rules of Golf, it is possible.
This may also be a "business opportunity" if someone could develop a white coloured "skin" for the crown of various brands of Drivers available in the market (just like the skins for laptops, iPods and handphones).
Aside to watermyforrest, I am not planning to join tour but I just want to make sure I will not infringe any Rules and Regulations so that none of my friends have excuses not to pay me at side-bets.
Thanks. | |
