| Had a day off from work on Monday (27 Dec 2010) and decided to head to the Den to see if there were any poisonous items to pick up!!! Lo & Behold... The delivery man decided to drop off a shipment of New & Improved ZOM heads!!! Wahahaha... Unfortunately, i didn't get a chance to "roll" it as i had to rush off for a Physio appointment, During that 1 hr while being worked on by the Physio, my mind kept wandering to the ZOM. So after my appointment, I rushed back to the Den and asked "Boss" politely if i could "roll" a couple of putts with the new head to compare against the previous of the ZOM. Straightaway, i was blown away and taking a long time to decide between the Center Shaft or the Quarter Neck, I decided to try the Center... Haven't tested it on the course or range yet due to the wet weather but hope to have a good round with it on Friday!!! This new ZOM is the Cast Version as compared to the previous one which is Forged. Enjoy the pictures... | |

Duval... If not mistaken this is a one piece construction with only the top plate being interchangeable

| IMHO.....the new cast is a winner...for those who have tried them, i think they can feel the difference straightaway.
we were 60% against the idea of producing the forged (which is 303 SS and fully milled) which comprise of 2 major parts and a removable top plate - an oracle or the zero back.
when the cast version (304 SS) arrived and having tested them against the forged, i can safely say that the cast version is every bit as good if not better than the forged.
Hence there will be no forged ZOM and the mass production of these playing putters with a Flow Motion training system built in will be available in early 2nd quarter of 2011....i hope.
i think we have a couple of samples around and anyone who wants to try them can come in the next few days.

Osaka was good huh? Japan in general is good!!! I prefer the smaller towns... More peaceful with plenty of fresh air and super duper fresh seafood Maybe can try to bake some sponge cake with Asahi...

DGman I'm quite happy with my Forged ZOM, thank you very much. But I don't doubt that DGman has a habit of making things better with every generation
