Personally, I had stuck a 4gm lead tape to close club face during the downswing and it worked very well for me now.
But I find that the stock shaft (TFC - R) is way too soft and whippy, had to change to an aftermarket option to obtain better consistency with less scattering. My G15 uses the Adilla Serrano shaft which, quite frankly, doesn't make a difference since I spray the ball regardless.

My G15 uses the Adilla Serrano shaft which, quite frankly, doesn't make a difference since I spray the ball regardless. I was using G5, stock stiff shaft before my upgrade. On well stuck drive, my ball could fly straight, not necessarily long. Using the G15 stock R TFC shaft, I find that I had to slow down my downswing, if not, my hands would be passing the ball than the club face, resulting in a spectacular slice. So I changed it to a stiffer shaft, which now I find that I'm losing some distance but at least, ball is straight. I'm contemplating to change back to a regular shaft...haha...

| I tried the DST Launcher today and didn't find it as forgiving (for me) as compared to the G15. The G15 is staying in the bag. | |

| tried it, i hooked it bad. But my bad shot is a pull usually. This k15 would be good for people fighting the right side of the course, working to ccrrect the slices.

| Eversince I got the G15 driver 9*, i have toyed with a few shafts.. protoK, YS6 (350S), and now TourAD Trottle. Although the Trottle is not a high end shaft, it is stable and fit really well on the G15 head. Currently at 46", it is straighter and longer (by 10m) compared to the other shafts i tried on this head (of cos, it may be due to an inch longer). With a forgiving head of G15, i feel that one can swing with less pressure off the tee. Thumbs up for Ping's G force | |

Nice looking driver which is suitable for those who push or slices the ball right. I was trying it out at Bishan and was advised against buying it by the fitter as I normally play a draw, Got the G15 instead with SR stock shaft and a very happy with it

| I use the G15 and I still slice. But that's because my swing is badly flawed and has nothing to do with the club itself. When I hit it sweet, the ball flies very nicely. | |

| Tried once recently at a range with Serano Stiff shaft (think should be at 60g). Swing normally and able to drive the ball to the 200m mark. Dun believe it is so easy to use so drive the 2nd time ...... gee... able same spot with same distance... Very easy to use and would said quite consistent in dispersion.. Thumbs up for this driver | |

| Just wanna share my experience using the G15. I own both 10.5 and 9 deg at one point
the 10.5 is in stock tfc shaft reg flex The 9 is in tour AD ysq 50g s flex
I was finding a lot of fw with the 10.5 no doubt, but the ball balloon too high for my liking. The combo of higher loft and r flex shaft inevitably resulted in ballooned shots which hurts when I'm playing into a stiff breeze. I also play a draw shot most of the time and bad hits are pulls or hooks which are aggravated by the 10.5 deg r flex. I recently let that 10.5 one go
face profile comparison, the 9 deg one appears to have slightly deeper face in comparison. I enjoyed a slightly lower more penetrating flight of the 9 deg which is noticably longer than my previous tm and the ping 10.5 driver. I still hit pulls and hooks at times because it's the Indian not the arrow. Aesthetics wise, the G15 looks traditional and fuss free in comparison to the futuristic drivers in the mkt. It looks square/neutral at address which I like. Accoustics wise, the sound at impact is pleasing to the ear, not too loud, not too high pitch or too dull. Gives u good feedback if u nail the ss my complain is that their h/c does not protect the shaft due to lack of a sock.
I would think for most golfers who fade their tee shots And/or those who struggles to launch their drives will do well in a higher loft r flex g15. Otherwise I will recommend 9 deg one. Initially I had reservations about coping with a 9 deg.
note: launch monitor at bishan Customgolf suggests that a g15 reg flex 10.5deg is better than my previous tm r7 ltd tp driver. But my experience on course tells me that 9 deg works better for me. Hope those ppl who are considering this driver will find my experience helpful
