store only non sensitive stuff... you never know who see what you stores in them.

I'm using DropBox myself. Very useful for storing important documents and stuff that I need to email to people from time to time. A lot of salespeople I know keep sales collateral there so that they can quickly provide a download link when they are out of the office and don't have their notebook with them

Already tried. Also used to pass out a lot of referral links to my friends and family so that I would get some extra space for free. In the end, I just upgraded to a paid account
