- mUAr_cHEe taking hiatus from golf
By mUAr_cHEe
I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my tempers has caused to so many people, most of all my family, friends and golf buddies. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try.
I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at this forum and my fellow golfers, for their understanding. What's most important now is that I have the time, privacy, and safe haven I need for personal healing.
After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from amateur golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better father, friend, golfer and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for myself and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.
My next appearance will be for the game at Laguna on February 24th. jason just send me the photos of you stopping at every Pin Lan store from taipei to kaoshung. and those KTV photos the previous night is simply disgusting. Btw the way, my herd of buffaloes died..... DGman

| from an economical point of view, he could have gotten something nice...or if he wants the same shaft from the same factory with a different brand, he could have gotten the Grafalloy instead.
i still think its too expensive a price tag for unknown shaft quality thats MIC.
lets see if it performs to the price tag....DGman

| Hi Muar Chee,
After our game at Keppel last week, I was totally poisoned by your Ilima combo.
I was at BFG trying the Kajiki on Trackman but still preferred the feel of Ilima.
So, I bought with the same shaft 70S and hopefully I can also get the same head soonest.
After all this money spent, I do hope to improve my distance of the tee..........
Perhaps, we can try your project X the next time we play..........

| weesern, sorry for missing this. PX Shaft? I cannot remember. Got this set up almost 2 years ago? BTW, with regards to the comments made from the other thread. Statistics are very personal to me, so I will not publish it so openly. Alot of ups and downs, I have observed. Prior to the 80 round, I have been playing alot of 100 plus scores, after my 90 round, I am playing 100 plus scores till now. Lately, game has been of crap and also do not dare to share here and disappoint my 'fans'. I honestly also do not have time to get back into practicing and straightening things out. I have been meaning to go back to a pro to sort things out but just cannot find the time to do so and more importantly range time subsequently to grain things in. To me, golf is a hobby and a passion that someday I hope that I can be like DGMan and spend his 'after' days pursuing this hobby more deeply. Work have been tighter now. Market changes, expansion of job scope and more overseas trip to make. I also have to make more time to spend with my family. Unfortunately, my daughter recently came down with HFMD. Although it is not serious, it is still a big cause of worry for me. I got another little one in the house. One suffering in the household is more than enough for me. For all those who are worried about that little monster, she is fine now and on the road to complete recovery. I can see her enjoying the pros of the HFMD and 1 week medical leave. "No Spelling and Ting Xie." and ending it with a cheeky grin. My son is also starting to walk and develop some character of his own. I just like to be there when some 'first' things happen. I know I definitely will be there when I make my first ace or eagle. I sure was there when I made my first birdie. Alot of things have been on hold now. PX Shaft review. The 'Shaft' Project. On-going review with Zen Oracle. the 'Skinless' project. Chronicles of the Storeroom Adventures. FR of the $4.50 Broom at BigFish. Comparison FR on the different dust bin sizes (especially the ease of emptying the dust pan after sweeping.) | |

| D: TM R9 9.5°/Diamana ilima 70 S W: TM R9 3W 15°/Graman M75 H: Cleveland Launcher 4i 23.0°/True Temper Crossfire I: 5 to P Mizuno MP62/Project X 5.5 AW: TM 52°, 8° bounce/Project X 5.5 SW: TM 56°, 12° bounce/Project X 5.5 LW: TM 60°, 7° bounce/Project X 5.5 P: 35" Zen Oracle Tour Mallet B: Callaway Tour iX with 2 Green dots. This is my WIMB now. Since swing is not in place and I cannot afford to be as aggressive as before, I just took out a few clubs and put in clubs that are easier to play. The available club distances now also forces me to lay up rather than go for it. This is working fine for me so far. I also kind of stuck with Callaways for now. I just find it interesting to imagine myself in the 'Good Ball' TV ad. But definitely picked that the 'distance' balls are the balls for me. | |

| TNRM, you know about the frogger too? I got it when I was in LAX last year. Visited one of the the Robert Dunns, when I step in, I thought I have died and gone to see the golfing Gods. In my daze, I did managed to grab one Frogger before I leave. | |
