But anyway, I am going with the Ilima/Cobra combo this weekend for the medal rather than the Kajiki/TM R7 combo. Post your FIR for the game please. 4

| Rex,
Similar to Kaili.
Work it meaning working the ball out and up. How I do it.
Yes. Let the Shaft do the work.
With the 5 series and Kajiki, I will just hit the ball. But with the Ilima and 8 Series, I will rotate my hips first, then pull a smooth swing through all the way till the follow through.
geddit? or is that too laymanish?

| OK
So U prefer to work it or just hit it?
Also, its longer than which shaft u had? 5 series? Kajiki? Kai'li?

| Had my first game at Keppel with the Ilima last sunday.
It was an eye-opener. Out of 7 shots, 2 turn out desirable and 1 was PERFECT. So that is like a 43% hit.
Compared to the Kajiki, dispersion is similar. But the ball flight is lower and more definitive. I get a lot more roll with the Ilima, thus it is bringing me places that I have not been before.
This is part of an on-going long term review. When I find the time, I will put the Graman 5 Series, the Kajiki and the Ilima to test with the trackman.
Unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to use similar heads for each shaft but I believe the results will be fairly similar due to technological advancement these days.

| yes. It is still the slices L-R mostly.
I had alot of pushes intially but that more or less has already been sorted out.
I am honestly more comfortable with the Kajiki but that may be because I have been playing longer with it. I am still going to stick to the Ilima for a lot more games before I finally decide which one to stick.

| Could be more of a swing fault. When u get on that Trackman, hv a look at ur club path and club face.
If u intend to get rid of it, u-know-who will be interested...

MC ilima is 70X.. more to yur specs eh, dun underestimate your head/shaft combo hor. Clearly capable of long and straight drives. The Ilima is truly an excellent shaft, and the R9 head is soooo very forgiving

I am getting the hang of the Ilima and I like it alot as I get more roll and find it easier to work with. On the good hits, I am getting distances from 250m to 270m depending on the wind and elevation, but mostly flat and almost still wind conditions. Comparing to Kajiki, I would say 5 to 10% more distance. Dispersion is similar.
Looks like it is in the bag.
