Bombed some great drives today. I still need time to get used to the new driver head. But the TM is much more forgiving although the feel is abit harsh. I also made my 2nd 30 putt round today. and personal best score so far.

| Great game this morning MC! Your putting from 10 feet was simply amazing and your drives were freaking long and with a ball flight like a fighter jet taking off! I have much to learn to get to even half your level. My guess is that you'll be sticking with your driver and putter? | |

| Nice set-up, MC. It's time to keep that a little permanent and see how it pans out in other courses Well done with the personal best score! I'm blown away. | |

| I just got my 'stock' -- 10 pcs overall, 6 normal hosel adapters, and 4 TP ones, all from the US. Brought them in for my fitter. Not expensive to buy them online. Currently quite itchy to get aa tour-issued R9 TP head, then I can start messing around with shafts | |

| Just for the record, my game at Palm Villa (Palm/IOI) was 80. from whites. dunlookback and I made accommodations to Mizzman and chemicalpro for whites. Really do not want to segregate and play from 2 different tee boxes. Besides, whites actually post more of a challenge to me than blues. Probably, it is because of the distance that I am usually left with after a drive off the whites. Shot from 50 to 80 metres are a problem for me. I can easily take at least 2 strokes from that distance to the green.
Also to be transparent for the stroke-askers and for my own record here, 9 Fairway hits, 7 GIRs and 30 putts (made 1 3-putt).
Palm 1: Par (FW hit) Palm 2: Bogey Palm 3: Bogey Palm 4: Birdie (2 on, 2 Putt) Palm 5: Par (FW hit, GIR) Palm 6: Par (GIR) Palm 7: Par Palm 8: Double Bogey (3 putt) Palm 9: Bogey IOI 1: Par (FW hit, GIR) IOI 2: Par (FW hit) IOI 3: Birdie (GIR) IOI 4: Bogey (FW Hit) IOI 5: Bogey (FW Hit) IOI 6: Par (GIR) IOI 7: Double Bogey IOI 8: Par (FW Hit, GIR) IOI 9: Bogey (FW Hit)
I cannot remember now exactly, but the ilima is about 15% off target. I had 2 great drives that went wrong, the ball did not fade as usual. But that's golf, when you want to hit it straight, it fades and draws. But you are anticipating it to fade/draw, it goes straight into OB.

Thanks nientsu...I didn't actually pee in my pants, but I admit my hands were rather shaky at the first 3 tees after what happened at the first tee when MC took his 3 wood and bombed it around 220m, dunlookback hit his driver perfectly with his trademark controlled fade back onto the fairway and CP whacked his iron like 180m (yes he can hit as far as MC). All the ladies in the flight behind us were like "wah" "ooh" "MC so strong" "all of you so pro". Then I stepped up to hit and there was silence after I hit my first drive OB and second one onto the next fairway. The crickets chirping type of awkward silence. But MC was damn nice because at the 3rd tee he told me privately not be afraid or bothered about other ppl's game, just concentrate on my own game and all will be ok. And I must said I did play better after that. So thanks again MC and congrats on your lowest score!

| Dude, once you are properly fitted, you shouldn't even be thinking about other clubs.
I also realised that being properly fitted doesn't only mean that it 'feels good' in the hands. The numbers have to tally with how you feel. No point thinking that it feels right but the data on the launch monitor have u doing 30yd L and R sprays, hitting it shorter and spinning it more than other options.
I went thru a thorough process which cost quite abit to fit but end of the day, I know what fits me best and buying new drivers, FWs, hybrids or irons wun be on my mind soon.
I might still have a soft spot for wedges and putters though but right now, they are treating me good so I'm sticking w them too.
