So....Ricky is a Rookie of the year.....and not Rory

Donno why we have such award. Very confusing , first its voted by the US PGA tour members...and for reason only known to them, its seem to me that its macam marketed like the World 's Rookie of the year.

But then again, US seems to have many world titles which they themselves only play.

I still go for Rory.....like what Westy said ' Winner on PGA title, top 5 in 2 majors '.....still cannot be Rookie of the year....

This year and probably next, everything is going to EU, so....I guess US may want to pull more attention towards to their homeland.
