However, I have some questions as I've not been driving to Malaysia for quite some time...
1. Do I need the touch and go card/device ?
2. Where can I get the Malaysia immigration card beside the checkpoint ?

Yes you need and can be purchased at checkpoint. Not sure where else. Can use mine first

Yeah, the Touch & Go card is not "tied" to the car so can be transferred, i.e. Dave can use Sunny's card.

As for immigration cards, you can pick them up at the counter itself. I see a lot of people running to get the cards from the front counter at the immigration. I guess that counter dispenses the cards Oh.. this is at the Main Link (not 2nd Link).
