1st Golf Republic Monthly Game (Sept 27, Sunday PM @ T.Puteri)

Date: 27/9/09 (Sunday PM)
Venue: Tanjung Puteri A Course (Plantation)
Cost: S$42 or RM100 Inclusive of RM 10 lunch/dinner voucher
Transport: Not provided. Please car pool

Dear all, we understand that charity golf in Singapore is a bit costly and thus we would be planning monthly games for those who are on budget and still wish to get together.

The first game would be held on 27/9/09. The cost is RM90 (100% to agent, neither GR nor Organisers would make any money).

We would be collecting about 4 dollars (RM10) extra from each participant as a pool for mini-tournament. Yet, this tournament is not about golf. This is a candid photo tournament. Depending on the number of participants, we would use the money to buy either 1,2 or 3 prizes.

The photos would be put up on our forum and the winners get the prizes.

This is a strictly non-profit, get out and have fun monthly games that we hope members would support.

Since this is an oversea trip, we let members have more time to plan.

I'll advise on when is the deadline later. It would be a first come first serve as well. I'll check how many flights I can get on that day.

Quick question: why Sunday PM? Won't you get stuck in traffic on the return? Why not Saturday AM?

I can play on Saturday AM or PM

BC sunday mornings cost about RM180. This rate of RM$90 is only valid for Sunday afternoons

Oh. That's too bad. I usually leave JB latest by noon on Sunday. Let's see first... may stay back late just to play with you guys

Maybe we can do alternate .....some on weekday, some on weekend Sunday, and some on Weekend Sat......

maybe the next game will be sat morning or noon JB...

Nah, my wife is quite happy to be back in JB. Her folks are there etc and she's got lots of weekend plans to do her hair, nails etc so no biggie. The only issue is the traffic which is a pain if we leave too late.
