any prizes for winners?

yes, but not for winning in golf...it would be too much of a hassle to calculate handicap, score etc for everyone in a system that is fair. We wouldn't be bringing computer there to calculate and thus we decide to make the competition slightly different

we do not collect money just to buy goody bags or lucky draw items... and this is just going to be a friendly game among members and would be a regular feature in the forum.

We do not have an official sponsor and we also do not believe in soliciting for prizes for such get together games.

Ask your friends to join. 100rm with a 10rm voucher is really as cheap as you gonna get.

We would probably do the same at palm villa next. Price also less than 100rm on Sat and Sun afternoon from those non-"suck blood" agents.

i think the biggest lucky draw prize you will have is to know more people whom you can have a great time.

You want lucky draw, why not join country club competitions? Their competitions always got lucky draw one.

this is just a normal monthly games for our members... i don't think we need to go down so low to use lucky draw to attract people to play. Kind of silly right?

Of cos if we start to charge 88/98 dollars or more for a m'sia game we can throw in goody bags, buffet dinner and lucky draws and special prizes and still make a handsome profit. But we are not here to make money.

monthly game is juz a name..... a get together is more likely...
a get together for ppl to make frens n share the joy of golf...

i think GR is not like those CC tht sell something or need any..
juz a group of ppl with same interest and passion tht get together....

sometimes we have a big get together - GR 1st tournament..
in the process, we pool for a donation for a good cause...
even those tht can't join, do contribute in some way...be it $$ or effort..

well we do our part....not just giving empty talks

Are you guys planning to go in via Woodlands or Tuas? I know Tuas is a much longer way but no traffic at immigration as compared to Woodlands.
