| still prefer the L5V looks.
ZL looks like the cooler, edgier and more adventurous sister but in the end the classic look, classier sister is the one to keep.

| TS, question. Does the new driver still have that signature muted impact sound that L4v have? | |

| The ZL meant to launch high and long particular attention has been paid to tuning it for the best sound of all the cobra drivers to date. 3 settings for adjustability, think it's 2 deg closed, neutral, and 1 deg open. The shaft seems to add a nice little kick at impact for an explosive feel, and I'm pretty sure the sound at impact contributes to that as well. | |

| Forgot to add that the black bottom part of the sole you see in the pic is also carbon composite, not titanium, so might be very prone to scratches and wear for those who tend to duff the driver. | |

I think it sounds closer to what the L5V sounds like but sweeter. Note, however, that my swing was in the GH test room which is more enclosed so the sound may actually be louder/different outdoors.

| The cobra i tried before all had very hollow sounding. Hope this is not the case for ZL. Just love the sound made by titlest.... like dropping a coin on marble floor. | |

I think cobra uses a lot of carbon fiber to lower the CG which makes the driver easier to use and drive far, but in the process, they sacrified the sound.
