| So here is the situation.....as we all know 460cc driver is meant to be able to drive further and longer....
If I am using an old 400cc driver ie Clevage lancher ......will it be reasonable to get strokes fm my flight mate who uses a 460cc driver and happen to play around the same std?
.....just an OOW thought.

| DS, try telling that to Ghoonk. His driver head is smaller than 460cc and yet he hits far. | |

| Actually.. smaller head gives you better clubhead speed if i am not wrong. So faster clubhead speed gives you longer distance (theorectically) and Smaller head means you tend to hit the sweetspot easier so you dun really need a forgiving head like the 460CC one. So, in summary... DS, you should be giving strokes instead. | |

| agree with Duffy; I hit the D3 (445cc) further than then D2 (460cc)
bro duval, how many additional strokes do you intend to give?

bro duval, how many additional strokes do you intend to give? Bro, by you saying that I seriously need to think whether to reduce your hcp to say maybe 9?

| actually if I think more of what Duffy said, kinda what I am feeling now.
I felt more confident with the clevage 400cc head. During the last game, took out this 400cc for the first time in a long while, and though did not go for it fm the tee, but felt confident that if i do, it wont spray fm bedok to jurong.

| I don't really care about the size of the clubhead so long as it gets the ball of the tee and have it land nicely on the fairway.
But, I like a bigger clubhead as it inspires more confidence and supposedly makes the club more forgiving, though it reduces the impact of the sweet spot.

But, I like a bigger clubhead as it inspires more confidence and supposedly makes the club more forgiving, though it reduces the impact of the sweet spot. And this will normally make you feel that you can hit even harder....
