| Guess many had read about the 19 yr old boy kena chopped in SG becos of staring.
Been thru a few and typically will go like this.
Stareee: See wat !!!
Starer: why cant see ah!!!...you tink i see you meh?
Staree: NB, dare to see, dare to admit lah....!!!
Starer: you think i scared ah?? NB
After tat....ke bak ke buk...whack !!!!!
In golf, I do remember only one incident of such similarities...and yes involving me. I supposed to tee off first and it was at the old Seletar Base....NB, still very beginner mah...then this older chap kept staring and murmuring me to quicken up....so...I say the SOP ' wat you complain about.!!!' .....luckily tats about it.
Nowadays...lucky no such issue, coz I tee off faster !!!!!

| Bro, if you do that now with a 19 yr old golfer, sekali he break his driver shaft and stab you.
Hiyah, the propensity for violence and lack of self-discipline by our youths today are appalling e.g drugs, loansharking, stabbing. I know this becoz of my job and I see these youths coming in. Hiaz....

| It's a really sad case of senseless actions by youths nowadays.
Whatever happens to bare fist fights?? Cowardly behaviour of having to wield weapons for such a meaningless cause.
Wonder if SSB has closed their doors?? Otherwise clean up the streets for goodness sakes.

| This is quite worrying esp for ppl like me with kids... wondering what kind of values are the youths today being taught?
But coming from a neighbourhood sch.. once you get into a staring incidents.. prepare loh.. else dun start, but never fatal. Then again, that was then.. and thinking how our society has matured throughout the years, one would think these kind of things are past... this is quite shocking.

| This case dam siao.... can you believe kids these days congregate or when they go out as a group, they bring choppers?? this is just rubbish...
i mean what is going on in their brain that they think need to bring chopper or knives? in Downtown East? bring a umbrella or waterbottle or iPad or PSP better right?? at least got practical use
Staring is not the issue, the issue is they act on it with knives leh.... this is very sad and absurb, i feel sorry for the family of the victim

| I can just imagine, police start frisking all teenagers for knifes from here forward. It is like a scene in kungfu hustle where spanners drop off from their pants before they start their football game. | |
