The ASS Team started out strong by hitting it close on #1 (except me where I scrambled for a bogey). The Lady Champ held her nerves, looked unrifled and proceeded to put it some 15ft from the hole too. Everyone missed their birdies and as we walked to the carts, realised we were already 1 down due to the stroking! Wow, we think its gonna be another tough day at the office.

ASS managed to win the next with a birdie to square up the match and we halved the next one as well.

On the short 4th, Our champ drove it long and straight. Right up to the apron of the green. Slinger was so disturbed by her great play that he proceeded to make a hash of that hole..(and the next). However, her short game let her down and we walked away 1 up with a par.

We won the next few holes as the Champ was slowly succumbing to the pressure of playing next to a very very loud golfer who can almost match her voice. She was apparently so pressurised that I counted a total of 9 sticks of cigarettes smoked in the 1st 9 holes alone.

The ASS won the front where stroke negotiation began on #10 when we had 2 1/2 flights in front of us. Alas, the extra strokes did not help much as Capt and Slinger continued to play steady to hold her at bay to proceed to win the back nine as well.

Overall, we think the pressure she felt was all self-induced. It didn't help that the ASS played well combined, hole by hole...just not individually.

We must say that despite winning, she is still a very worthy opponent for the would be Buayas and Buayees...do not let your guard down or you will not know what hit you.

Rex, she proceeded to play very well two days later, a low 90 score. So the tuitions with ASS must be very bery good.

Cant wait for my own schooling in about two weeks...!

2/3 of the ASS team Did a X'massy holiday round with Chinchiachun today @ Royal Selangor GC.

Weather was pretty hot today. Course was running a little damp, very very long with par 4s averaging 400+yds.

The AS team were feeling a little generous given the holiday mood so the stroking agreed was 9-9.


To cut a long story short since we have plenty of other things to do after our round, we gave him a glimmer of hope after 6 holes but it was all down the drain for an easy 4up win after 18.


Merry X'mas everyone...esp to Duffy....we were only a 3 ball flight today. I had a caddy who toured with Udorn Duangdecha a while back. Capt had 1 who caddied for Muru n MM.

There's nothing like playing golf in the heart of the city with KLCC as a backdrop and Tun Razali's mansion bordering 1 of the holes....best of all, it's FREE!
