| If there was any day this week you would like to play golf in Sg, today will be the day.
One of those remarkably cooling days (in Sg terms) that you just can't wait to get out and get some fresh air.
We started off on the back nine. It was perfect - A little breezy, overcast. Not too many flights on the course and we proceeded to tee off with the agreed 2-2 stroking for the young and talented lady pro.
The match was tight for the 1st nine holes. Slinger scared us the 1st 2 when he rifled his approaches to 6 ft only to prove he was human by missing both birdie putts. *ahem*hehehe*ahem*
Capt, using his brand new toy aka ah dumb Driver was smashing it further than his usual ones. Using the inbuilt crappy GPS (crappy cos the pin positions in the system were all wrong), we measured it off to be in the 225-230m range and there were 2 instances he outdrove Slinger.
The 3 of us slogged it out to duel the lady pro where we remained all square after nine holes.
On the back nine, the sun came out midway and with it, strong gusty winds from the north but Capt continued to smash his drives. The holes coming back all played long - we had to use Driver and 3 wood for the 8th which was a par 4. I lost the plot a little by stringing together quite a few bogeys in a row but we managed to hold off JL for a 2 up win.
The A.S.S. played steady but not too well today. Bogged down by a balky putter (Slinger), wiry approaches ( Capt and me), we think that JL did well against the 3 of us.
AGM held again during lunch has us determining that for tmr's round with ZX, the stroking will remain at 4-4 and it will only be Saddam.
S70B signing off for the day.

ZX, we are bringing our cheque books. Suggest you bring yours too since you are not comfortable carrying too much cash.

We can carry forward to next game.
Or you can ask for backers lah.

DGman Its nice to see the Maestro a work !!! There was once an aspiring horny porn writer that frequents the den to ogle at the beauties and the works of a master and his impeccable craftsmanship. The master's business grew faster than the porn writer erection and soon the master had to channel his time to getting his mind cleanse with some Zen thoughts and leave the dirty work to his kah kia.
Yesterday the porn writer was lucky to revisit the den and witness the master at work again. the whole visual experience of watching the master at work was like the good old days, PURE ORGASMIC!!!
He may had gained some weight from all the offerings from his cult followers but none the speed and agility. Those hands were as familiar around the workshop and his tools of trade like i was familiar with the nooks and crannies of a certain mummy at SPP.
First up was the simple task of cutting the length and changing the grip of my new putter, after which i was rolling the putts beautifully.
Next was the building of a new driver of the captain of a certain sibeh how lian A.S.S team. A new ah dumb driver head and a Kaili shaft was matched and the master begins his magic show. As those who knows, captain's demand for precision in golf is well, as precise as his game. Firstly, the master knowledge and memory of his customers game and their preferences is the cornerstone of his success. No question was required and the shaft was cut to a precise 45 and a quarter inch. The only dumb question came from a dumb chow ang mo beng asking if the master need to mark the length before he cuts it. Of cos he got the K&N and Computerised Circuit Board response from all. Next, the swing weight was exactly a D2 which is what captain wanted. If it was D2.000067239 or D1.999997238 he would have kpkb.
AHHHH, the joy of watching the master at work once again. I came, i saw and i came.
this one just took away all the fatigue of a long day...welcome back CCC.. DGman PS Captain...the shaft is recalled because the new owner wants it back....Slinger just offered double the amount to break it into 3 pieces.
