| After playing or rather trying to play golf for more than 1 year (8 years will be more exact), I am glad to say that eventually I have my full set.....phew....as in there are 14 clubs in my bag now
Irons: 5,6,7,8,9,PW
Wedges: 48 deg, 51 deg, 56 deg
Putter: 1 putter
Wood: 1 x 4 wood
Driver: 1 x driver
Hybrid: 18 and 26 deg
so glad...now at least I don stick out like a sore thumb when my bag gets put beside the others......sigh of relief
@ Mods: Can we sticky the WITB, coz cant find it...need to update my significant progress made.

| Yah, the PW and 48 quite close.
That said, I'm in a similar predicament. I carry 5-9 and a 46, 52 and 58. I think the 9 and 46 may be a little too close. Thinking of moving to 9, PW, 52, 56 and 60.

| Hmmmm.....ditto for me too. 48 P wedge with 51 G wedge.
But tried on range, the P wedge can reach 100m flag and the G wedge, at most 90m.
Is that ok? | |

Mmm Zai See..... Ha nor... He is seasoned enough to know his exact distance for each club and different balls. Bro DS, if my guess is right, your PW is 45deg so you go for 48deg GW?

| Im guessing that they serve him well i.e the short game mastery.
Wmf, 45-51-56 is still even. His 48 must be his MONEY club. The one chip one putt club.

aiyoh bro, actually the PW is also 48deg but its the one which came with my iron set....ahd I use if I want to full swing....hovering around the 110-108.99 m coz its more forgiving for my kind of plebian swing. But the 48 deg wedge (my first step towards pro equipment ie Vokey) is more for pitch and chip for shorter distance.....because I find it easier to manage as compared to my std PW and more importantly with 48deg vokey, the ball will be slightly more behave.... make sense? or am I kidding myself just for the sake of having a complete set?

Hey Jason, I am already using your intended option except for the AW which is at 51* as I want it tuned to 80/95 m distance. Now the main and most exasperating problem is getting it zoom in on the target itself. At the moment it is reacting like 2 magnetic poles of the same polarity sigh........
