Handicap determination

Hi all,

Can someone enlighten me how Handicap points is given.
My understanding is base on the submittion of score card to determine.
Is there any standard calculation method or it depend on individual club maintainning.

Should a player submit 5 score cards for the below, what are the HCP ?.

A. 90 to 100 ..............
B. 101 to 110 ..............
C. 111 to 120 ..............

Golf.about.com has good info on handicap. usga.org as well. I'd read those sources first. They refer to usga handicapping system. However some clubs may choose not to adopt usga hcaping. Most do though.

Slinger = 70-79 = gives strokes plus kana saddam.

Wow, if like that then I am still okay ... I am still 24 hcp
