| Apologies, if this is off topic...
Been considering recently to buy a new car, Volkswagen Golf...but the most important question, how many golf sets can be squeezed into the boot?
I had heard that the width is too little for putting a "driver" horizontally (i mean the golf driver, sorry the pun!)
Anybody driving a Volkswagen Golf for comments?

| Typically if you wanna store your golf bag in a VW Golf, either you have to remove your driver from the bag or drop one of the seats to accommodate the whole bag!!!
Probably can squeeze bout 2-3 sets (Stand Bags) into the boot of a VW Golf. This is based on removing Driver from the bag first

| If you are currently driving, just bring your full golf bag to try... even if they have a golf bag in the showroom, they will not have a driver in the bag.
And also, how many bags youintend to put in there

It has nothing to do with the Game golf.. not really.. "The Golf name derives from the German word for Gulf Stream[dubious – discuss] — and the period in its history when VW named vehicles after prominent winds, including also the Passat (after the German word for Trade wind), Jetta (after the Jet stream), Bora (after Bora) and Scirocco (after Sirocco). "Golf" is also a sport, a theme that is shared with the Volkswagen Polo."

| Don't forget that you'll also need space for other clothes bags, shoes etc.
If you have young children, you'll also need to squeeze in a stroller. Not easy!

| Get a Nisan Latio with wider boot, you'll be surprised, it look small on the outside but Huge on the inside, My fren car can take 4 golf horizontal plus boston bag!! Plus 4 passengers yet car can speed some more! But if your class is Audi, BMW, than so solly hor,, I underestimate u guys, but another fren of mine BMW 520 boot can't fit golf bag, driver must be removed, horizontally not wide enough.. BMW designer surely is NOT a golfer so he forgot to widen the boot!!! | |
