Here is what I really detest.....about media

NB....when US losing, this kind of thing get written. During the last Ryder at USA, wah piang, the media start to write...US so good, proved a point, eye of the tiger in no-tiger show......then now throw this kind of freaking statement....obligation crap .....

That is USA for u man. In whatever sport they play, they always name themselves world champion. I am really hoping a whitewash for the singles game so that they can reaaly shut the mouth of the Americans. But knowing them, they will say bad course conditions. But think of it, it was the bad course conditions that gave them the lead after day 1.

They forgot one thing lah...both team play on teh same cousre same condition. different tiiming? No..each flight have 2 US and 2 EU, yet the EU still beat them..hehehe

US team just not playing as well as Europe team... both teams are playing in the same conditions

That's Americans for you. They take their competitions seriously. My American colleague says that when they even trash talk with other Americans when play golf, basketball, their fav NFL team play against one another. During the game, it's war. Other that it's all cool. Am not surprised the USA media writes like tat. They just love to win in anything.

I have to agree with Duffader here. When I was living in the US, you hardly hear any news about life outside the US. If it ain't the US being ahead, it doesn't get much publicity.

Don't get me wrong, you can't really blame them. With a country so big, there's more than enough news to print. They have to be selective. Why focus on an event which doesn't glow? Stuff like that doesn't make the newspapers fly off the shelves.

no one wants to read about their team/country being trashed, or read about an obscure spot that they don't perform well in, i.e soccer, cricket, rugby(they still think their football is da bomb)

I think US playing badly cos their uniform is so FUGLY!!! The US Boys looks so uncomfortable wearing the outfits am pretty sure its playing mind games with them...

Look at Europe, they look so sharp in their outfits, it just adds confidence to their game!!!

i believe the dressing problems are due to corey pavin... and i agree with techospaz... there is just so much stuff going on in the US that the media will always be selective of the news it prints... lets not forget that the media guys are just in it for the money too... haha... if it can't sell, why print it...

however, on another note, i'm still a fan of the US team... please don't shoot me down...
