Finally my new toy has been fixed!!!

after months of planning, creating space for this toy, confirming what we want and having to wait for a full month for this to travel across the Pacific Ocean to Singapore. we finally have our new toy up and running...

it all started with an idea, some masking tape and a lot of imagination.



we had to wait for the Ang Mo supervisor and that took more than 2 weeks to coordinate.



edges have to be cut and trimmed according to the sketch



Under the watchful eyes of 2 pack KT, things got moving..



the foam contours were cutted and delivered in modules and fit accordingly.



the greens which were delivered outlined and cutted were glued permanently to the modular base.





then the rough were ready to be added..





cups were added and the putting surface trimmed around the cup...



the first tester climbs aboard....



hollow tine on monday, rolling on tuesday and picket fence up by wednesday, we should be ready for play.

Nice! looks like it completed within 2 days, great work, can't wait to test it out!

we better hurry and learn cos there are some bungalows at Sentosa waiting for these greens...at least you will not drowned in them.

been too busy to pop by in the last coupla mths, still travelling till mid-sept, but will def go sniff around the new "greens" when i get back.

now i just need to convince the wife this can also be a good reno idea for my new balcony... maybe i will bring her to see the "showflat".. haha

but the next project will be greens double this size and more challenging...

for these 2 holes, we already have left to right breaks, right to left breaks, double break, up slope and down slope depending on where you are putting from.

this is like the Laguna practice green..no chipping.

We,, you can always chip form the hitting mat. Practicing your NEW hop-and-stop moves. For the record, I got it! I tried the swing on the range and it works like magic! Will go on the course in an hour (with my NEW putter and 3 wood), I'll let you know how they go.

The Koi ponds, if done correctly according to the Feng Shui, could bring more businesses to the shop. Golf Punk Bunker Babes... Well, will bring more men for sure. Not sure if the business will do better than the Koi ponds, though...

By the way, just finish my round. My new chipping swing works wonder! Still no 3-putts, thanks to the new Zen with the magic formula to the shaft.

But the green today is slower than it should be...

haha... i can't wait to go down and try it... at this rate boss, you have to open your own driving range soon... which i think would also be a good idea...

those who are caught chipping at the putting green will have to stand at the end of the driving range behind the canvas (to avoid blood splattering) cos we will get Chris to unleash his 235 meters 5 wood drives towards the culprit.
