Broken driver - can be fixed like this ?

My bro in law just broke his driver when he practised in the range (in Indonesia)... Can this be fixed ? I'm not sure whether it's broken at the shaft or at the head itself...

Just want to hear the expert opinion and to assess whether he should buy a new driver or reshaft it...

Looks like broken at the neck. I'm no clubfitter but that looks (to my untrained eyes) to be something which could be difficult to repair.

Then again, DGMan can work wonders.

as long as the hosel is intact, shd be ok..... but driver looks pretty old lah, think better new driver

the hosel depth is between 1.25 to 1.5 inch. given that we can tip the driver and lengthen the driver, the driver will play stiffer.

assuming the flex is regular, it will add 9 cpm more, meaning it will now become a stiff flex.

but we need to check if the shaft at one and half inch towards the butt is still at the hosel diameter or either .335 or .350.

what is the brand of the driver and the flex of the shaft, we may have the same shaft in stock.

from wat u said, it may be fix without changing the shaft and definitely can fix with changing the shaft?
