| There are a few threads on golfwrx on how to put a satin finish on chrome irons. Below is a sample pic. Just be prepared to have very tired hands or if you have a machine for this, it would be easier. If not, a Scotchbride or 3M pad will do. The 3M sanding sponge is available at most hardware stores. Try experimenting with old heads first. Even with irons with original satin finish, after some knocks here and there, some areas may appear shiny and have scratches. You can use this method to renew the look of the irons. Just remember to sand in the same direction. Hope this helps. | |

| Unless your irons already showed some signs of rusting, otherwise, no side effects that I know of.
While you are at it, you could also change the paint fill colors. You can use nail polish remover and remove the original paint fill. This takes some time. You can use paint remover but I don't recommend it since it is rather corrosive.
Next, use nail polish and paint over. Let dry. Use soft cloth and wipe the excess off with nail polish remover.
Easy way to give your irons a different look.

| Let me try to get the exact detail for you. It's similar to the green pad you use for washing dishes. | |

| Very interested on your Rhino Stamp, is it what they use for stamping initial? Like for me, I can stamp "JC" on my iron and putter? How much will you charge? | |

| We actually don't stamp for our customers. Instead, we let customers who get the irons from us use it. We have spare heads for them to experiment. On the tour vans, they usually have a fixture to hold the iron head in place. And usually its allows the head to be place such that movement is kept to a minimum. Any slight movement or hesitation will results in the stamp creating a double 'image'. My experience is that you need very steady hands. I have missed the stamp before and it narrowly hit my thumb. Ouch.
My photo hosting is doing a maintenance. I will upload pics later tonight. It will be pics of the the rhino stamp and a comparison pic with a regular stamp and a rhino stamp. Also a picture of an iron stamping I did. Also, easier to stamp on forge.

| There is a place in the States that does finishing and can pretty much stamp anything you want on your clubs. http://www.blackoxideservice.com/index.html
If you have a few friends that want to have the same thing done, you can send it in together to save on shipping. They do something call phosporization. It's something like etching an image on glass. So you have that frosted look of the image or wording you want on your club.
If anyone wants the brochure, just drop me an email at sales@torquegolf.com and I will send it to you.

| If you want, you can come by and we have old heads you can try. I don;t use the stamps much these days and honestly, am not the best guy to demonstrate it. Getting it deep enough to put paint fill in is also a must. Usually I stamp irons for birthday gifts to family members. If I do mess up, it's okay. But not so nice to mess up a customer's irons (mis-cues do happen). I have seen pics of Camerons with a double image on particular stampings. Sometimes, these things do happen and it can be hard to tell the customer "sorry". | |

| sometimes nothing much to do while watching golf, I start experimenting on my clubs. My first try at stamping was 6 years back on my Vokeys. All I can say is OUCH. They were brand new and it turn out really really bad. The other thing I do is to replace paint fill on my irons if they get dull or worn out. Or change the color scheme on my putter. | |
