| Stuck in customs? How much is it? if more than SGD400, you're liable for GST charges, so they might not release it until that's paid... | |

| Oh no, did they give any reasons why?
I just purchased an iron set and its going to be shipped in through USPS...
The last time i purchased an item over SGD400 they only billed me the GST a few weeks later. Item was sent to me right on time w/o delay, doubt its tht problem. | |

| If the seller send by USPS, it will be handle by Singpost. Singpost will send you a notice via email (if your seller indicate together with your item). They will ask if you want them to clear custom for and arrange payment of GST. In this case you will need to pay Singpost administrative fee + GST when they deliver to you. Otherwise just reply Singpost you will handle it yourself. Go down to Paya Lebar Singpost where there is a custom counter and pay your GST only and collect your stuff on the spot.
Hope it helps. | |

| Hi Colin, was the notice sent by Singapore Custom? If yes, there should be a contact no. for you to call. Mostly, just have to go and collect yourself from them after paying the GST required. Just hassle only but otherwise should not be any other problem. | |

| Bro SBY, find out which shipping company the seller used. The shipping company should have the ability to link you up to the custom and most likely is to do wth declaration value.

| just go to the Paya Lebar Post Office (Custom Office), pay the GST and you will be reunited with your irons immediately.
you can also call them to check if you wish. the people there are very friendly. strange they have not notify you yet.
