| Sorry if this is a repeated discussion but I tried but could not find related thread... I saw on Project X website on the type of shaft available and realize they only show in 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 etc... How to know which is R Flex? Also, what is the diff between this shaft vs the common DG/NS-Pro/KBS etc??? Cos saw many PGA pros using this shaft... | |

i think..... Thanks bro! Any idea how's the 5.5 compared to DG S300 & NS-Pro 950 R? Which is stiffer or the stiffest? How about the weight of 5.5? Cos I tried a set fitted with 5.5 and seems lighter than my stock TM Tour Burner S Flex shaft which should be 105g and made by DG. But the spec of 5.5 show 115g... ???

| DGS300 more heavier compare with Project X 5.5 . If you are looking 6.5 that one too stiff .
Can check with DGman . | |

| The numbers are relative to shafts in the same family. 5.0 is softer than 5.5 which is softer than 6.0 etc. but that is not indicative of relative flex, i.e whether 5.0 is stiffer than DG R300.
To find out, you'll need to compare CPM numbers, which DGman can do/advise. Also keep in mind that two different shafts of the 'same' flex can play/feel different, depending on the balance point, kickpoint, and tip stiffness
For what it's worth, I'm playing ProjectX 5.0 on my King Cobra ProMB irons and a set of my TM RAC MB irons, and I have the original satin Rifle Project shafts in 5.0 flex in 2 other sets of TM RAC MB irons. The satins play the same, and feel 'softer' than the Project X shafts.

| yup I don't need to swing hard/fast, just focus on making good contact. Here's the cincher: - I hit the ball 115 yards using my Miura MB-5003 shafted with KBS Tour Stiff shafts - I hit the ball 125 yards with no loss in accuracy, using the same swing, with my TM RAC MB PW shafted with satin PX5.0 | |
