Project X PXi vs KBS TOUR 90

Hi guys , i was wondering if any of you had experience with one of those two shaft . What is the launch and spin ?I'm currently Project 5.5 . it' just a slightly too stiff and slightly low launch . My 6I swing speed is 81 MPH. I'm looking for higher launch and spin with my iron. cheers

I have played with with both. The pxi is also a low launch shaft so if u r looking for high launch the kbs tour 90 may be more suitable.

Bro, does the KBS Tour 90 balloon like NSPRO if hit hard? I am gaming with PX5.5 and I find the ball trajectory ok especially for approach shot but the feeling is not very "shiok" (alittle harsh) like the DG S300 that I used to game with ... Thanks ...

IMO the KBS Tour 90 offered better traj control than the NS Pro 950. I think I can say that I hate NS Pro shafts

I also played with PX 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 and stopped when ended up with quite serious tennis elbow or tendonitis in my left elbow. Quite a few other friends also complained about this same problem, and I think that was the reason why I went from that to the S200s, which felt softer and easier on the elbow.

The PXi is supposed to be better feeling than the PX shafts, and I found that it was a good combination on the 712 AP2.

Yeap.....me thinks the NS pro shafts are a bit off too....at least for me.
But it works for some ppl.

No experience with PXI.....but knowing PX shafts, feel could be harsh still.....I may be wrong.

It all depend on who is using the irons.... Coastguy uses NSPRO.....

duffy uses c taper and score 78

Anyone who's using PXi: are your elbows holding up? I tested it for 5-10 swings and the feel is good, definitely different from PX Chrome

Only quip about them is if one is inclined to having the shafts spined, the logo will run! The PXI's logo are painted on now and not in sticker form as before.

I launch the ball higher with the PXI's which is good for me as my trajectory tends to be on the lower side.

I play the PXI's in my wedges too and i find that they check on the greens much better than the KBS Hi Rev or the DG Spinners. Am using the Vokey's SM4 currently
