Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher Leads Titleist to Six-Win Week. Yani Tseng and Bernhard Langer Win More Majors with Titleist.

In the heat of competition, you need to trust every decision, every swing, and every shot. At the 3 Irish Open at Killarney, Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher was totally prepared and fully equipped for success, finishing with an 18-under 266 total to match the tournament record. Trusting a complete bag of Titleist equipment from tee-through-green, Fisher posted a final round 6-under par 65 to hold off fellow Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Padraig Harrington for the two-shot victory. The win was the fourth of Fisher’s European Tour career, moving him into the Top 20 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Fisher led Titleist golf ball loyalists to a six-win week across the worldwide professional tours, including major championship victories by Yani Tseng and Bernhard Langer on their respective tours. Additional victories on the Nationwide, Asian and Sunshine (South Africa) Tours advanced Titleist's 2010 worldwide win count to 81, more than all other golf balls combined.

WHAT’S IN ROSS FISHER’S BAG?: Pro V1x, 910D3 prototype driver (7.5), 909F2 fairway metal (13.5), 909H hybrid (17.0), 695MB irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled C-C wedges (48, 54, 60), Scotty Cameron putter.

#1 BALL, IRON and WEDGE: According to Sports Marketing Surveys, Titleist was the GOLF BALL of choice at the 3 Irish Open with 93 players, more than three times the nearest competitor with 29. Titleist was also first in the IRON SETS (36) and SAND, LOB and APPROACH WEDGES (144) categories.

LPGA TOUR: It was an all-Pro V1x finish at Royal Birkdale as Yani Tseng became the youngest player ever to win three major championships, winning wire-to-wire at the RICOH Women's British Open. Tseng closed in 1-over 73 to go with three consecutive 68's to finish with an 11-under 277 total, one shot clear of Katherine Hull, who posted her best finish of the season. The 21-year-old Tseng won the LPGA Championship at age 19 in 2008, and the Kraft Nabisco Championship earlier this season.

Na Yeon Choi (Pro V1x) and In-Kyung Kim (Pro V1) tied for third at 7-under 281, as Titleist golf ball loyalists occupied the top four positions on the leaderboard. Choi has finished 3rd, 2nd, 2nd and 1st, over the past four weeks, including a win at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.
#1 BALL: Titleist was the overwhelming GOLF BALL of choice at the RICOH Women's British Open with 107 players, more than 10 times the nearest competitor with 10. In fact, of the 13 players who finished tied for 9th place or better at the RICOH Women's British Open, nine relied on a Titleist golf ball for their success.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Pro V1 loyalist Bernhard Langer shot a final-round 3-under 67 to complete a rare trans-Atlantic double and win the U.S. Senior Open by three shots. Coming off a victory at the Senior British Open last week at Carnoustie, Langer finished at 8-under 272 at Sahalee Country Club. Langer made just one bogey over his final 45 holes.

#1 BALL, IRON and WEDGE: Titleist was the overwhelming GOLF BALL of choice at the U.S. Senior Open with 112 players, more than six times the nearest competitor with 18. Titleist was also first in IRON SETS with 54; and SAND, LOB and APPROACH WEDGES with 140.

NATIONWIDE TOUR: Martin Piller (Pro V1x) fired a final round 7-under 64 to win the Cox Classic. Piller posted a 23-under 261 total, two shots clear of runner-up Dicky Pride (Pro V1). Titleist Brand Ambassador Alistair Presnell (Pro V1x, 909D3 driver, 909F2 fairway metal, 909H hybrid, MB irons, Vokey Design wedges) and James Hahn (Pro V1x) tied for 3rd. The win is the second on the Nationwide Tour for Piller this season. He also captured the Stadion Athens Classic at UGA in May. With the win, Piller moved to No. 3 on the Nationwide Tour's money list. The 25 leading money winners will move on to the PGA TOUR next year.

He fired a final-round 3-under 67 to finish alone in second, his third runner-up finish of the year. Titleist Brand Ambassador Brendon de Jonge (Pro V1x, 910D3 prototype driver, 909F2 fairway metal, AP2 irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron Studio Select Kombi putter) continued the consistent play he's exhibited this season, closing with a 5-under 65 to finish 3rd at 17-under 263, his third top-3 finish of the season.
