Congratulations Singapore on 44th year as a Nation

I won't be in Singapore on the 9th.

So I am taking this opportunity to wish the Nation of Singapore
and all of her citizens and visitors a heartfelt and truly personal wish
for continued blessings and achievements.

Even though I am an American, born and raised Red, White and Blue,
whenever anyone asks me "where are you from"? I proudly answer
that I live and work in Singapore.

Take great great pride in your past Singapore, at times troubled perhaps
but you've always come out stronger as a nation thanks to your men, women and
children who have a vision of a flourishing and bright future.

And to all those in uniform who have unselfishly served their Nation with pride and distinction
I SALUTE YOU!!

I played golf with WMF, Camilio and Bro S on 2 August. As we were the first flight out, I was tempted to come dressed in red for the free cap. I decided against doing so since I didn't want to attract attention - nothing like dressing like Tiger but playing like a monkey. I checked with the counter and the cap is a MBGC cap. Didn't get to see it but I think it would've been nice.

I know exactly where I will be (regrettably out of the country).
