FREE putting lesson!!

Anyone interested in coming down to Jurong Country Club on Saturday @ 11:00 for a 1 hr putting session (no charge) with Canadian PGA Professional Mark Bates?

Please send me PM. The first 6 players to respond will be in.

Mark is a great putter (he took $22 off of me just yesterday on the practice green) and will help you with your stroke, reading the greens and planning the putt, and your overall approach to putting.

Hi everybody, thanks for all the interest in the Saturday putting session.

Unfortunately the six spots have been filled up but I will likely organize something similar in the very near future.

Mark Bates is a wonderful fella.. Had the pleasure of playing with him in Bintan some time back. I remember there was a choice of a 300+m drive over water or laying up on the fairway to the right, and he bombed it 300+m over the water on the apron of Par 4 green.
Nearly peed my pants... heh heh..

hi ,it's the same Mark Bates,he is from canada,he has been me teaching for almost 4 years and it is a joy to play with him cos he will do funny shots!

Just want to say a big thank you for the lesson. Although short, it was just enough for a newbie like me. Good, important pointers - set up, reading, aim and putt. Now I can practice putting with a purpose.
