| Yeah, its pretty boring when TW is not contending. I switched over to watch the Reno-Tahoe instead.
Sidenote: Lee Westwood played well to register a 2nd runner-up finish in the Majors this season.

Superb long putt to nail that. Haha... me too. I woke up after I heard the cheering on tv, saw the replay, then fell asleep again

| Congrats to South Africa man...
after a successful hosting of the World Cup, then this pint sized South African oosthuizen comes along and wins the Open...
what a tribute to South Africa and all this happening on Nelson's 92nd birthday... he must have been so proud of his countrymen...

| the game of golf is not about what brand you use...its about how you use them.
good thing i put a pound on a relatively unknown on Monday with a 250/1 odds. i have to ask who he was after watching him at the putting green.
if you get inside the ropes you will learn that the guys in suits pretty much make the deals as far as equipment goes. and do credit the player who put in hours and hours of hard work and who have to endure the elements to win a tough tournament like The Open.
This is where the determination, stroke of luck, talent unfolds and heres a quote from one who have won several times in the past...
The only thing i ever learned from losing was that i don't like it...Tom Watson, date unknown.
and one more....
