Hi Benson, how long have you been playing golf? If intermediate, meaning you can more or less control the flight of your ball and have it landed 70/80 % of your shots on your target.? Then this question is appropriate. If you are a beginner or slightly better than beginner, just enjoy the game and try your best not to go for distance but rather accuracy. For a beginner, you don't have to worry how difficult a course is because your ball will go everywhere except where you aimed at. JMHO.

Below are some of the comments which I can recall by the TV commentators including a pretty well known coach who had appreared on TV....aka ' Got say , Like no say '

1. Its very important to get your tee off to the fairway
2. during your approach, landing in the wrong side of the green will result in a tough 2nd putt
3. putting is going to be crucial
4. avoid rough
5. the lines are tough to read and some are pretty tricky
6. the wind will play a part in some day's game
7. ability to control your spin will be very useful

some of the above will also apply to Pulai

Pulai 7 drive short; leave ball on top of hill for an easier 2nd shot.
Pulai 12 dont attempt green in 2 when pin is front right
Melana 4 dont attempt green in 2 when pin is back left; play as 3 shot hole.
Melana 5 alwways play short of green
Melana 15 even though short par 5 try not to reach in 2. Can play driver/pw/pw.
Melana 18 tee with 3 or 5 wood otherwise 2nd shot you will face a steep banking.
