In my experience most golfers at the driving range are simply hitting balls, doing nothing productive towards improving their game. They may hit the ball great at the driving range but just don't know how to take it to the golf course. Sound familliar anyone?
The most important book in my library is "Every Shot Must Have a Purpose" by Lynn Marriott and Pia Nilsson. Two coaches made famous by Annika Sorenstam.
This book will teach you how to practice productivly with very simple focus and help you understand how to take that exact same focus from the driving range to the golf course. It takes discipline but it absolutely works and it will absolutely make you a better player.

Another great book is "Fearless Golf" by Dr. Gio Valiante.
Lots of great stories from the tour players about how they use their brains.
It will help you examine the some of the reasons why you may or may not be able to reach your potential with the idea "Mastery vs. Ego" driven golfers.
Focuses on the one single thing that matters in golf......and there is only one single thing that matters.

two great books that revolve around the one magic thought.

enjoy

not too long ago, I was laughed at when I mentioned that I range as if I am playing the course.. and yes, it's a practice range, can party and make noise too.

I know that borders @ orchard has a great golf section you can find these titles there. Most big book stores should have a golf section and should offer these titles.
