| After blaming many factors/people/equipment for not having a good game... its time to do some self-reflection. To assist me in that, is there any good golf books that I should have read... or should be reading to improve my game? Other then... seeing: swing coach, club fitter... etc Particularly in the department of golf psychology. Recommendations please.... | |

| If you are looking for real instructions and are not looking for fancy graphics or pictures, this is my old school golf bibble. Golf Clinic - Play Better Golf - Beverly Lewis ISBN: 1-85501-395-9 | |

| Golf is not a game of perfect by Bob Rotella. This one will sound strange but read a novel, The Power of One by Bryce Courtney, all about over coming adversity and small can beat big... First with the head, then with the heart.. I have read both multiple times... These two will help I promise.... if not I give you free lesson... | |

| "the majors", or "a good walk spoiled", by john feinstein.
these are not the instructional types. writes about the mental strengths of players who hang in till the last moments to win and also of players who continue to play on for the passion.
quite motivating for me. very useful to bring their strings of thoughts to our social games...

| 1. Bud, sweat and tees by alan shipnuck
2. Tiger Woods - How I Play the Game
3. Tales from Q School - John Feinstein
4. A good walk spoiled - john feinstein
Except for Tiger Woods' book, the rest are entertaining golf stories and not instructional books......but hugely enjoyable...

| Ha...I can't stand listening to any of the talking heads....they all irritate me....dan jenkins is bloody rascist and is still revered in the US........having said that, I couldn't pick any of them out of a crowd.....except the retired golfers like curtis strange / paul azinger....
The problem with ESPN and Sports Illustrated is that writers want to be on TV and TV commentators want to be published....
