Choosing between 2

Which Ironset is better? Titleist Ap1 with DG R300 or Callaway fusion with nippon 990GH. I tried both, both feel the about same during impact. One big Cons for AP1 is the durability. After few plays, they look older than my Ping eye2.

Get the AP2 or Cobra Pro CB these 2 are sweet!!

Havent demo AP2 yet but Think my skill cant play Ap2 well...

1st of all, u need to consider this - the 2 shafts of the above 2 iron sets differs greatly - NS is 99 gm & the DG is 125 gm. If u feel that ur skill is not up to handle the AP2, then maybe u should go for lighter shafted irons. If hv to choose between these 2 based on your skill (perceived), then Cally Fusion. If based on aesthetic, probably AP1. If there is a 3rd choice, neither...

Based on Aesthetic, i Voted Cally fusion due to speed of degrading on Ap1. Based on performance, i played better with Ap1 on course but getting aching across my chest probably due to heavier head and shaft.

I've only tried the Callys not the Ap1s.
IMHO, the Cally Fusions are ugly, big and clunky, BUT they play great! Ball seems to fly even on not so good swings/hits. Feedback on impact with these are all about the same, almost same feel even on pured shots or off center hits..

i Think you referring to Fusion widesole version. Normal Fusion iron had small head, thin sole and less offset. Ugly or not quite personnal, i find it very attractive.haha. Anyway titleist Ap1 is more clunky, big and more offset. I will be pleased if can have more technical comments for this topics.

Sir, as for all irons, esp Titleist irons, get fitted properly for the AP1 or AP2.. They are good irons.. The Mizuno MX200 is also worth considering.

There will be a new Titleist line this fall season. The 710 series.

AP1s will be totally re-designed. How the wear is, I don't think anyone knows.

AP2s only asthetically different as they are the most popular.

MBs are going back to the classic look aka 660s, 670s etc

CBs are very much like the 695CBs.

the CB 710 series looks so chio..but i dun like the new look of AP1 and AP2. Present AP2 still looks nicer

get the CB model..... cos on your bad day you can blame and even F it.

I was reading some US forum. People are already planning to mix the MB / CB for their set. Is it possible to custom your orders here?
