Choosing driver shaft Empty
PostSubject: Choosing driver shaft   Choosing driver shaft I_icon_minitimeWed Jul 16, 2014 8:41 pm

Finally! I managed to find and buy a brand new taylormade R1 black! However, it comes with Asian regular shaft which does not suit me. Hence I'm looking for some recommendation for driver shaft.. Not too expensive la currently still studying! Haha

Btw can I switch the shaft from my r1 tp to my this non tp?

Thanks!Smile

I tried R1 Asian R and S and both no diff to me. Like using cane. I need to use Global Reg (at least) then suit me.

Why not swop the TP shaft over n try since their adaptor is the same.

I believe the only diff is that the TP head is slightly heavier.

I suggest u swop the tp shaft. The tm shafts generally not too bad eventhough may not be the best but still ok

Hara, I saw one two days back at the jurong trade hub my golfshop. Black r1, face and base a bit worn, seller looking for around 180 or 170. If you still looking and dun mind the wear, can go there to see.

299 is old pricing but still quite reasonable for it.

Anyway I tried the driver with Asian regular, pretty whippy, and I'm probably gonna get it go with aldila phenom haha
