Orchid Country Club (Weekday Golf)

Hi all!!,

I'm a new member in this forum. My fren and myself are members of MGK and we are keen to find kakis (Esp MGK members) to join us for a flight every other week in OCC.

We are planning to make OCC our home course since the golf pass + union rates make it very affordable to do so.

We are still new to the game, so there'll be bound to happen some cock-ups here and there. So let u know first!! hah...

So if anyone would like to be in the loop, via e-mail or phone/sms, let me know so I can touch base and send out my alerts whenever we're planning to play so that we may ballot the golf pass and make booking etc.

Everyone is welcome!! but then again pls... we're beginners so we do hope you can bear with us.

I played at Pulai Spring for 1st time yesterday and it was a disaster as my driver and hybrid were not functioning (actually it's me). Only last hole then both worked, too late. Didn't bother to add score.

You know my standard now. Can still join you? Btw, what is the total cost to play at OCC for mgk member?

I am not good myself so how can I say no la bro. Of cuz u can join !!! As a MGk member it is $15(golf pass)+$36(green fees) +$20 (buggy) = $71 (ex gst) for 18 hole. Drop me a pm with ur email and no. So I can keep u in loop.

Everyone is the flight has to ballot. The pass is NOT FOR per/flight basis. That was the same question I asked when I balloted..

Either way it is still affordable at $71 (ex GST). We just played there yesterday, had to share flight with a couple of really nice golf kakis who were single handicappers. A bit paisey at first and 1-2 mulligans.. but eventually our game flowed and they were really nice to tahan with us for that initial blunder..

So if you are keen and you have a PC in OCC, give me your details and I will keep you informed for our weekly weekday sessions.. !

My PC will be at star academy, so i guess OCC is also in. Will be soon but not yet.

played at OCC yesterday for the very first time... n i love the course... so much cleaner and nicer to play than in JB. it not as tiring to play too... n there are NO mosquitos biting me.. weather is nice too yest and the rain starts just after my 18 holes... NICE....

U might as well join MGK membership and skip all the hassle.... MGK members *for sure* can get the pass to play there....

i now also dun hv HC... waste money to pay for the membership first.. i still get union rate and my golf pass only $5 instead of MGK $16...

mine for wkday shld b no prob to get it, just that weekend may have to book in adv...
