Logo Design Entries

here's my try at this design thingy...



This is for the Golf Republic Forum Name....

My wife did this last week when we anticipated 'Golf Republic' winning.

Mods have seen them and are awaiting other entries.

Now that a Forum Name has been selected I still think this is the best of the best. Still a little rough around the edges but it's certainly current and contemporary. C'mon let's hear it for this bad-boy!

Your design really look classy and Iliek the toning on the "Golf" word. Very striking..

I'd certainly give a vote for this.

Simple and to the point. Good contrast, though I feel that the figure on the left side could be larger or brighter to give a more balance composition

the shadow guy with the ending swing, can be more stylo.. the current one looks a bit chubby for the good-looking typography..

sorry for my 2 cents suggestion.... the design is very nice... if can see the white golf ball bouncing into the hole .. would it be nicer? if the flag be shifted to the letter 'l' and use the dot of 'i' as the hole ... not sure if it would be nice.. JAT Thanks for the nice designs..

I feel that the logo design and the font doesn't blend well. The font feels very imposing and authoritative while the logo is retro. Maybe a softer font type would help?

Remarkable!

1 have 3 humble suggestions:

#1: Keep everything on the one with the black background except ditch the golfer silohoutte. I think just showing the "swoosh" gets the point across.

#2. Keep the Stylish COLORFUL one as an "away" logo and for other items. I don't know how well it would embroider but it would be KICK-A## in a silkscreen!

#3. Use Number 1 and 2 for everything except the forum banner. I still like mine the best as a Forum Banner Logo since it's more sophisticated than the others!! (Scroll Down)
