| jeta1, its not that i am not happy with this club but more along the lines of i think i can be happier with another club. this TM hybrid does not seem to be that great a club. i was considering the callaway diablo edge tour. does anyone use this particular club and its there a difference between the regular diablo edge vs the tour version? Thank you technospaz and wilkang, i will go test out your recommendations later... hehe, good reason for me to go golf shopping again once again, thank you all for your kind advice | |

| Cos in ur 1st post, you did say that u're not too happy with this TM hybrid, but did not state any particular reason ( it could be the ball flight or impact sound). Knowing wat u dun like abt ur current hybid can enable fellow forumers to better recommend others to u. Anyway, the up and coming Adams pro super hybrid looks to be a winner. Do look out for it! | |

I find that the easiest hybrid to hit is TM rescue 07 #3 & 4 with graphite shaft R flex. Get a rresale one if you can find.

Hi there, I used to have my TM rescue dual in steel shaft...did not like it. Changed to stiff graphite shaft & everything ok now. Maybe it's the shaft? Anyway, hybrids are quite subjective, down to one's personal liking. What works for one may not work for others. Have fun looking and trying out.

| Just a tot: Share your swing with a pro or much much better player.........and let them see and recommend.....
I on the other hand can only share with you what I am using......the very old dinosour Nike CPR....and such, kept my expectation in tact......as I am just a seasoned beginner.....

| well, the issue i have with it is that since i have changed my shaft to steel, i have issues launching it to my desired launch angle. also, the look / feel of the club seems to be not what i am looking for. i bought the hybrid because i fell in love with the R9 fairway but this club doesn't seem to be as easy to hit. also, i need a steel shaft due to my excessively excited backswing... haha, sigh, this is all due to my inability to control my tempo.
when i bought this club, it was fitted with the aldila voodoo vs8 stiff but it was too whippy. therefore, i was considering the callaway diablo hybrid as it seems to be an easy club to get into the air even with a steel shaft. the adams looks really enticing too. any ideas when it might be out?
Thank you everyone for your time and knowledge.

| alternatively, would you anyone feel that instead of using a hybrid, i use 2 fairways woods instead? i have been considering using that set up as opposed to having a hybrid that i hardly use. any advice? | |
