| thanks all for the congratz. i honestly never had expected to win. 'i', darrenlim, tian, and68low, reylim and many other dark and strong horses that i spotted are playing as well.... i knew i had a decent chance to finish top 3. i had good recoveries yesterday and again witnessed by another credible forum member yesterday; tendy... i could nv GIR with the 100m, flat lie shots. I had to be behind some tree, other fairway or thrown into some weird karma sutra position to be able to 'on' the green... Zen did not fail me yesterday. Managed to sink a few longer putts.
what was good for me was seeing Tendy hole out his approach on the 18th. Ball was rolling then suddenly... it disappeared! EAGLE!!
After the game, I will unravel the mystery, in my flight it was tendy, Christopher Lee Ming Shun and Edmund Zeng Ge Ping. Chris and Edmund are actually good golfers after getting over the jitters of the first few holes. Understand that Chris has only been learning golf for 3 months but his chipping is very good and ball ends up near to the hole.
They did not managed to show up for dinner as Chris and Edmund had to go off to join a friend's wedding dinner.

| A very very BIG thank you to all for making GR first anniversary such an astounding success. A milestone set with many wonderful memories, great kakis, good laughs and of course the Champs Muar Chee & Mloy. Not forgetting our NTP winners, Eden & Katherine. And also to the organising committee, volunteers for taking time out to assist in the planning and logistics. Especially to Jolyn & nrafee, great job on the NTP. Not easy sitting through 24 flights and through the day at the green. "Huge Bert", our man of the night for his hilarious emceeing. Thank you BFG, Bintan Lagoon, Wizgolf, Swingbar, Ria bintan, titleist, FJ and golf punk for the generous sponsorship and support. Happy Birthday GR!!! | |

| Thanks to the committee for organising such a great event. like the rest, I enjoyed myself especlally our game against the Champions and 1st runner up.
Led by 3 holes in 1st nine after my straight 5 pars in 1st 5 holes but lost steam in the 2nd 9.
We were 1 putt away from joining the BVA! somehow Mloy missed the putt which she will be able to do it for 99 times out of 100. We were that close!
congrats to Mloy and Muar Chee for being champions.
glad to know we have a gd time and also did a gd cause for the others...

Kudos to Sunny, Moon and the committee at GR! I'd like to also send congratulations to the winners of the tournament, especially the Women's Champ - Monica (OMG!!). It was also certainly great to meet again the professionals in the industry and the GR Members. I had a great flight mates, I had a good time on the course and even better I am very happy to have the Men's Champion in my flight! MuarChee teeshots were long and he has very good rescue techniques, and of course he made the ZEN putter worked its magic! WELL DONE Muar Chee! We are also happy to have the mystery guests (mediacorp artistes), Christopher Lee and Edmund Tay to take precious time off to join us in the event and Kelvin Soh with his wife joining us for the dinner. I'd like to wish continuous success to GR and looking forward to the new anniversary event! Cheers! Tendy Identify | Understand | Enable
