Sure...I am asking my flight mate for 'gimme' around the +/- 50m range....( 1chip , 1 putt) hahahha


but seriously, since there are prizes, I don think we should ask for gimmme....

Actually, I am going there to really just to have fun... So rules actually not really important in my eyes. However, if I happen to win some prizes (low possibility) and then actually have been using mulligan and gimme... I will then feel quilty....

It is good to clarify this early, so we can really feel secure... I joined Home Team NS monthly medal before and they actually say that gimme is one putter length (excluding grip).

is there room for 1 more? i might be able to play since i'm probably not travelling..

Just my thoughts on the NTL prize if it is there. This prize can go to anyone, even a beginner and not just season player as a lucky shot by a beginner can still win the prize so he don't mind putting in $20 to try. But for NTP, the beginner knew his chances are very very slim so I surmised that they may not even want to put in the $20 to try. Of course there will be some who will try for it knowing it is for charity. But a thinking golfer, people like me for example will give it a miss. I am not that lucky. But if NTL is there I will surely try my luck. I know it is all for charity but still cost counts. As it is, was wondering why made it so difficult to the masses and which I think might benefit the better players whose chances will be slightly better. Just my thoughts here. Open to discussion by everyone concern.

Your concerns are duly noted but as we are running on NO budget and all proceeds goes to charity. We are unable to accomodate the extra charges incurred by having NTL.
NTP is FOC as there is no requirement for course preparation.

I believe the above statement is suffice to explain the decisions made to have 2 NTP.

To me, NTL and NTP is the same for everyone. Let alone NTL, for most beginners, somehow or rather, they rather land their balls in the small roughs and wayward OB areas rather than the BIG fairway in front of them.


anyway, its all for charity. so actually better if no one wins the prize, since it is already out, we can do an auction for unclaimed prizes at the end of the tournament. proceeds go to charity!!

Yup. It is definitely not cost effective to have a NTL. The fees charged by Singapore courses for this novelty is ridiculous.
