| Looks like the grip for my badminton racket but it does have a subtle classy look. | |

| Hi jtek, i hv toyed with the idea of changing to Winn grips for my irons too b'cos i like the feel & tackiness, but was advised by more than 3 persons who've used Winn grips, & all advised against it. They all told me Winn grips r really not so suitable for our climate conditions. They all tend to peel off quite fast.
I suggest u get more feedback from those who hv used them. Goodluck!

Grip tape??? DIY or which shop can do it? Also, heard that if we uses tape on our grip, the weight for the club may defer. How true is this? Is this important?

Anyone tried? Any comment on Golf Pride?
I hv been using Golf Pride grips all along - Tour Velvet, New Decade MultiCompound - all last relatively long, considering my 1000 balls per week at the range. However, i hv not tried the Tourwrap that u r interested in. On the whole, Golf Pride is more popular in this region due to them being more lasting and durable.

Also, heard that if we uses tape on our grip, the weight for the club may defer. How true is this? Is this important? Don't listen to KK, he's referring to the grip tapes for tennis rackets. U might end up getting 'tennis elbows' from the vibrations during impact (especially from hitting off mats) if your irons are not properly gripped. I personally use the mid size GP Tour Wrap, like them cos they are firm & tacky (need to wash regularly with soap). I dun use gloves during play but have to use a pair of rain gloves during wet weather cos they are really slippery when wet. U can try Bob Golf at Rangoon (unfortunately BFG dun carry them)
