| My routine is to start hitting balls using my short iron and progree up wards all the way to the word. I will only move to the next iron unless i can hit at least 10 shots with consistency bepfre I go to the next longer club. Takes a lot of discipline though. Golfjoy - one way overcoming your discomfort of people watching you play or tee-off . Go to Executive Golf Course at Seletar to play. Play on wekends where there is a crowd at the 1st tee. After a few games ...you will be oblivious of anyone watching...steady only. | |

| I also start with the driver first, for those golfers that are not too experienced, it helps you realise how you will hit your driver when your body is still stiff!
I then move up to 3 wood, hybrid, 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,S,55,60 to get a good feel for my shots for about 100 balls.
Then i use 50 balls to cycle through 9,8,7,6,5, hybrid, 3 wood and driver and call it a day.

| Here's my routine (grass range)
At the range 20 balls with a sand wedge - half swing 20 balls with a sand wedge - full swing 10 balls with a gap wedge - full swing 10 balls with each iron, working down from 9i to 2i 10 balls with a 17.5* FW wood 10 balls with a 15* FW wood 10 balls with 585H hybrid 21* 10 balls with 585H hybrid 19* 25 balls with driver 15 balls on target practice - hit driver, fairway wood, random short iron/wedge, playing to different markers, focusing on accuracy
Chipping green 20 balls with LW 20 balls with SW 20 balls with GW 20 balls with PW 10 balls with 9i 10 balls with 8i
Chipping & Putting 10 balls with LW, then 1-putt to finish 10 balls with SW, then 1-putt to finish 10 balls with GW, then 1-putt to finish
Putting 3 cycles of 8-points around the clock, 3 ft - failure to complete, restart. 2 cycles of 8-point around the clock - 6 ft - miss 4 putts, restart
I try to do this once a week, usually 3 hours of work, but the weather is getting too hot for this these days.
