if i want to use a shaft other than my stock shaft, can i buy the hosel sleeve?

We're glad you like the S2, its a great product.

We don't sell the sleeves individually but we do sell additional shafts by themselves with a sleeve and a grip all ready to go. You can order these through your local preferred Cobra dealer, this is considered a custom shaft order so it may take a few weeks to get.

Hi, Yes you can order just replacement stock shafts if you like. You can do this through any of our authorised Cobra dealers.

frankly, i think cobra should sell the hosel sleeves individually.

i mean Taylormade, Nike all do that.

kind of defeats the purpose of have that functionality when we have to buy everything (shaft + hosel) through cobra.

Hi Scubawan, this is the same problem I have with the imix from callaway. In the end I need to pay a high price for an adaptor off eBay. basically want ppl to buy thru their brand directly.

gosh... a few weeks...

i mean, if the sleeves were available like in 2 business days (retailer gets from distributor) then we shaft it somewhere else, wait for epoxy to cure.....we could be playing a new shaft in days rather than weeks.

made a mistake here buying the S2, thinking sleeves would be readily available. perfect example of how brand loyalty doesn't always pay off...

should have gone taylormade! yikes!

don't get me wrong muar chee... i still like cobra stuff, except for that hosel sleeve policy!

anyway, i am finding a way around the problem. will share it if i can uncover any solutions.

ps: the S2 3-wood is also damn solid.

agree that the hosel policy do not float very well. and i actually think TM themselves are not selling the sleeve adapters that loosely as well. I might be wrong. Just that out there in the market, the adapters are more easily available. the again, we come back to the same question...

how sure you are the product is real since you are not getting directly from the brand itself?

i am sure when you put in money to do R & D, you would prefer to keep all the profits to yourself rather than share with others, right?
