| Need help for advise on both models. I tried the US SPEC (Regular) Rescue for 09 Model and liked the feel. I didn't get a chance on the 07 model though.
I understand that the the 09 model (US Spec) has adjustable head but the Jap Spec does not. The 07 model does not have any adjustable head as well.
09 model cost about SGD100 more than 07 model.
Other than that is there any other difference that I should be aware of?
Thanks. | |

| If you are looking for the tweakability, go for the 09 hybrid. It is not bad. If you are looking for forgiving club, and looooong... Go for 07 Burner, I am sure it is cheap as dirt now. If you play your second shot from the rough a lot, go for Raylor. | |

Thanks bro for the advice. I've tested the 09 hybrid and did find that the feel is pretty good. The tweakability is and advantage but not mandatory. However I didn't manage to find a place that I can get to test the 07 version though. Hence wanted to know if its as forgiving and long. I found the 07 version in Far East going for about SGD160 and so it is very affordable and 09 version going at SGD260+ at Isetan.

| got the 07 burner hybrid...the shaft is very soft (i got the stiff shaft) and have trouble with it. Reshaft with nv105 regular and its very stable now. Great hybrid head with a crappy shaft (for me anyway) Not sure of the 09 version shaft. | |

Thanks for the feedback bro. I'm finding where I can get to test the 07 Hybrid before committing. Not sure if any bros knows where I can still get to test this 07 model? This model is still available at Far East but no way to test it. Tried the 09 hybrid and it felt pretty good to me on the Regular stock shaft. Maybe my swing speed isnt as fast. Im only hitting 130 on my 6 iron currently.

Agree, retail shafts are softer to flex as (I believed) they are the water-down version of the real thing. Again, that is the importance of fitting. At a certain handicap level, I do not believe you can just buy stuffs off the shelve and hit it as it is. If you are playing for fun, of course. If you are serious about your game, it would be wise and smart to get fitted by a qualified fitter.

Im still a newbie honestly and dont even have a handicap yet. Still working hard on it Don't even know what shaft fits me best at this stage. Guess the 07 model may be a better choice for me at this stage given the price and I can still change the shaft later once I know exactly what fits me best I suppose. Thanks to all the bros that have given my their valuable feedback.

My experience tells me nothing is as forgiving as TM's 07 Burner hybrid. It is a hook machine for sure with their stock shaft, but once you get fitted it is a lethal weapon! I am still playing one (TCG with PX graphite hybrid shaft, cranked it up 2.25 degree open), alternately with my Adams Idea Pro. It still works wonder. If wanna try, visit the Den. The last time I was there, they got one shafted with Graman.

Thanks to all the bros that have given my their valuable feedback. Since you are still a newbie (no offense), I'd suggest you take that 07 Burner. It is cheaper and it works wonder for newbie. I started playing this club when I was relatively new to the game, too...

Yes I'm leaning towards a 07 burner as I don't want to burn a hole in my pocket without knowing exactly what suits me best.

| My vote for the 07 Burner Rescue as well, used a 25 Degree when I first started and it was my go to club for a long time, has a nice balanced feel and launches easily ... don't think the premium for the 09 is warranted ... only thing is that it does tend to become a hook machine with the stock shaft once your swing speed improves, but I guess that is true of both the 07 and 09, so why pay more?
My 2 cents ... | |

| 09 Rescue for $260+? I got mine for $230 (angmo specs) at Isetan. Great club for noobs like myself. It is really one of the easiest clubs to use. Makes a nice crisp sound on impact. Using it for tee offs and second shots from fairway/rough. Without it I would have lost more balls! LOL | |

Bro Lizardman - The 260 should be the price for the TP spec with adjustable head.

Yes yes forgot to add - mine's non-adjustable. But it's still a great club.
