| hi..
i saw one grip by Lamkin N-DUR 3 GEN online, and it looks great, was thinking to buy online and have it change locally
I was wondering, id there anything i should be aware of about the grip before i make the purchase ?
eg like, size ? how do i know which size i should buy ?
secondly, anyone keen to join me for the purchase online ? that could help to lower the shipping cost...
feel free to make comment here
thank you

| How about the weight of the grip besides the size ?
Coz if weight is relatively more than your current one then it will affect the swingweight of your clubs.

| weight of the grip, and the size
some grips are .58 butt, and some are .60 butt. I think this has to do with the butt diameter of the shaft that the grip is being fitted to. You'll also want to check if the grips are ribbed or unribbed. Ribbed grips have a 'spine' running down the inside.
So, size (.58 vs .60), ribbed/unribbed, weight, and whether you are choose full cord, half cord, or rubber (e.g. Tour Velvet)

| hi
i found out about the weight and core size of this grip
weight is 57gm and size is 0.58 inch round
but i'm not too sure is this consider a standard grip ?
but when i check back to my nike grip, the weight is 51gm and core size is 0.6 inch round.
so, if i purchse the Lamkin grip, is it compatible ?

Does that mean, if i purchase the Lamkin Grip with core size of 0.58, it cannot be fitted into the NSpro shaft ? snowman

| There is no such thing as a 'standard' grip. Different manufacturers use different compounds, weights are different between manufacturers
The butt diameter and the ribbing are the only 'consistent' standard between manufacturers
Oh, and you'll want to check for overall grip size as well -- there's standard, midsize and oversize.
A .60 grip can replace any .60 grip.

| 0.58 grips will fit 0.6 butts, after installation the grips will be slightly bigger than your original. Are your original grips the right size? Grip size can be build up with tapes at the butt prior to installation.
If your new grip is 57g vs your existing 51g, your club will drop 1 swing weight after the change.
Where do you intend to order your grips? I need to stock up some new mid size Tour Wraps as well.

| Hireko shows N-DUR @ 6.79 but Golfsmith also offer this price > 10 pcs
Golfsmith might charge more for freight (you can check by trying to 'order & checkout' from both websites but don't complete the payment part)
lets see what the others require and we can decide where to order from.
I need 20 pcs Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G midsize, 6 pcs Golf Pride Players Sofftie midsize & 2 pcs 2 Thumb putter grip colour lite in red & blue.

| can consider this one also... http://www.globalgolfsales.net/
i got my N-DUR from them.... specs mean nothing until you touch and feel the real thing... this grip is thicker and heavier than the "standard" one...
can also check with BFG if they are bringing in.
will take photo and give FR, if got time.

I'm targeting after cny then start the order, will that be ok for you ?

| How much are you saving, compared to buying them locally?
The price difference, when arranging with a good fitter for cost of fitting and discount for group buy, may not be significant after that. Be mindful, unless you can get them fitted for free somewhere.

will take photo and give FR, if got time. The price for grips from "globalgolfsales" seems to be the lowest so far snowman - my Tour Wrap G2 are not available for shipping till March, if you need your N-DUR by Feb, please go ahead with your order

snowman Nobody seems to sell lamkin here in Sin - strange Ordering online is not about cost savings - sometimes we get the latest stuff by paying a little more but most of the time we do not get what we want here in Sin eg. nobody stocks those mid size grips I want so i end up buying a year supply of grips each time
