| Anyone knows if Bettinardi currently sells putters that are not co-branded with Mizuno? Not talking about special edition ones but entry level.. Can't seem to find any.. | |

| There is a production model coming up that is not co-branded by Mizuno. Mizuno putters will no longer be made by Bettinardi. I will keep everyone posted once we have the tour putters and production (mid-november) models available. | |

| Can't seem to find that statement you're referring to..
In any case, back to my original question. So Bettinardi doesn't have any production models that are not co-branded right now, but is intending to start his own line for the mass market in Nov? | |

| Off topic, but just a thought.. Mizuno really has engaged some of the world's most famous putter makers over the years.. Scotty Cameron, TP Mills, Bob Bettinardi all had lines that were linked to the brand..
Mizuno FTW! | |

| Good point. Strictly speaking only 2 putter makers. Since Bettinardi was milling for SC. | |

| solarpop...i supply acetone, you bring paintfill.....
according to the scotty story, the japanese iron maker way of undermining the putter creator's need for expression led to the ultimate breakup. Bettinardi had 2 fallouts - ben hogan then mizuno. and of course miz broke up with SC in 1992.
all said and done, Bobby is doing it as a hobby as far as putter is concerned, his contract with the US air defence in the areas of milling is making him the real dough. i feel that he is now finally creating his own putters without the pressure of following in the footsteps of his former employer. however i don't think he milled the putters himself but he has a team in his workshop doing it.
if he is going commercial again, he would still have the most recognizable and patented putter face in the world.
sorry the gamer has got my wife's nick stamped on the bumper, so its nfs. haha

| DGman. Yup that is correct. Bettinardi actually has a machine shop with very sophisticated CNC milling machines doing the work. He actually has videos giving a tour of he's workshop. | |
