Anyone has any experience with Fisher Golf Putters? Went shopping for a replacement for my Scotty and came across this funny looking one with a full offset gooseneck.

I thought it was interesting and asked the sales "how much?". "$80." Great, that sounds ok just to keep it as a collectible. So I asked for a ball to try it out and...stunned.

No, it cannot be. Quickly retrieved the ball and tried again...same result.

That is the sweetest roll I have ever felt in a putter. I have multiple scotties, odysseys, the defunct Yes, nikes, and a couple of Japanese putters and none of them roll as good as this $80 Fisher.

Gonna be anxiously waiting for the weekend to try it out in game condition.

Found this video. The sliding golf ball trick is pretty neat.

Do not know which model u have, but i have one with a red-coloured insert at the sweet spot. One of the softest insert i have felt.

Mine's burgundy. A bit harder than the red but still shiok.

Good! Loving it with every strike. True to thread's slogan: Soft and Buttery.

great simple putting tips.  "Putting is primarily distance control"

After a month of games, I'm happy to report that my Fisher has cut an average of 6 strokes from my game. Used to expect 2 putts on the green but the Fisher makes it possible for me to get one putt quite consistently. Anything under 5 ft is a simple tap in. The confidence it gives me on the green is wonderful.

Have to qualify though that I have made some modifications to my putter. I found the original grip horribly thin and swap it with a jumbo grip. That balanced the heavy head nicely for precise distance control.

tried these putters before, pretty nice feel but can't get used to the softness. or maybe the insert on the one i used was too soft. overall pretty cool putter.
