Hey Bro, do we need to be member to play? I anticipate to be pretty free next week and don mind trying there ..of coz if they accept non member

JCC exec course accepts non members too.. pay more than members.. just need to have valid PC minimum..

JCC executive, you got 4x par4 holes as you repeat hole #1 and #5. Smile

I went for a few fri evening before also not crowded leh... maybe I lucky... ha ha ha

I have not tried EGC and NSRCC b4 as they are too far from my place. Used to go to the executive course at JCC quite often when I was picking up the game. It is a good place to experience a proper golf game. My summary for the course:

Hole 1: Par 4
Relatively short Par 4 (approx 300m depending on which tee box you take)
You will find yourself staring straight at a massive tree in the middle of the fairway as you tee off
OB on the right
Tree lines on the left
Well placed bunkers beside the green

Hole 2: Par 3
A good distance Par 3 that many will like, as it sits comfortably at your 7-8 iron distant
Water on the right
Sloping green providing some putting challenge

Hole 3: Par 3
This is a long Par 3 that even better players will break a sweat to hit a one-on
Water on the right
OB on the left
sand bunkers infront of the green to deter anyone trying to lay up the tee shot for a chip

Hole 4: Par 3
Relatively short Par 3 with a series of bunkers to distract you from focusing your target on the green
Distant should sit well with a 8-9 iron

Hole 5: Par 4
Probably the toughest of the 5 holes
A decent length Par 4 with slight dogleg right
If someone is to slice the ball wide to the right... be prepared to shout 'FORE' loudly as it is flying towards the 10th fairway of the 18hole course (usually with players walking in it!)
OB on the right guarded with a series of ponds
Water on the left as you approach the green with your 2nd shot
A fairly flat and large green to give you confidence to go for the 2nd round of 5 holes! Razz

How are the queues on Sunday morning at Mandai these days? Thinking of heading down early tomorrow morning. If bad then might try JCC executive though it costs 2x more Sad

Peak hours usually between 8-10am on Sunday.

Alternative advance booking can be done at Toa Payoh Driving Range, payment by cash only.

iirc, they do not see your PC or handicap.

Newbie here and have been reading about the executive courses that allow PC holders to play. Am working towards getting a handicap, and so far I have been to mandai EC and Champions. Am considering to go practice and try out nsrcc par 3 EC and jcc EC which some bros here have recommended in the threads above. Would just like check and confirm that both allow walk-in ( both weekday n weekend? ) also, is there any way we can we make booking for these 2 ECs?

For JCC, it's a walk in course, first come first serve. As mentioned, well maintained and it have a practice putting ground and chipping area. And for weekday, it comes with free parking. The lady there will give you a free carpark coupon when u make payment.

If u nd score cards for taking Handicap test, u can't use those fm NSRCC EC and JCC EC (if I rmbr correctly).

You need score card which has slop and course rating, means your regular 18 hole course.
EC are all not possible if i am correct.

Yes. But I know some centre conduct courtesy round there.

last 2 weeks? singapore school holiday, follow by malaysia school holiday and then 10 days before CHENG BENG, and another 10 days for after.

with 2 cases of ppl bashing thro the bar-rial, the checking is slow to a halt.
what U expect???

clock from JB custom to Singapore custom 1.5 hrs and more.

Just hope that this crazy jam will go away.

For the time enjoy the local course, Hit some balls at the range and when the Q is not there . play lah.
