Which course is best at Palm Villa (JB)?

Anyone with feedback? Trying to decide which course we should be playing at on Saturday

IoI is the most challenging.....

* IOI/Palm 72.9/130 (Blue) 70.3/126 (White) 69.4/120 (Red)
* IOI/Putra 73.2/128 (Blue) 70.5/123 (White) 69.4/120 (Red)
* Putra/Palm 72.1/130 (Blue) 69.4/124 (White) 68.0/120 (Red)

I meant 1st and 10th in the sense of the tees in 18 holes, rather than 1st, 10th and 19th of the course. But I appreciate your vote for IOI and Palm. Thanks

Bro...any course will do lah......there is no ideal option, don want you to over complicate this lah.......just go with whatever you feel or whatever that is available that suit our timing....and so be it...

you know what is the good thing ......answer: not shiok , then play again..there is always another day for another game...

all 3 courses are very enjoyable..

putra easy
palm harder
ioi hardest

No matter what, must play IOI. It is longer and more challenging.

I agree that IOI is a must play!

Aiya... go earlier... and play ALL 3!

After you play all 2, don't forget to go to the IOI mall after your round to makan! Can do some shopping too!

From the way we golfer choose the course, is it the most difficult is the best course?
Just like some of the high handicapper like to tee off from the back tee, is it longer is more enjoyable?
Or is it making our money worth is to play more strokes?
I still remember when I start learn to play this game, my sifu want me to train in executive course until I can play a +11 and below on 9 holes before I was "release" to play in 18 holes course on white tee.
It's sensible to play within our ability but I still prefer to play in a difficult course

Maybe becos.... if we play badly in a difficult course... it is a better excuse for not playing well. And if we play badly in an easy course... may end up killing ourselves... hehe...

Agree with you Bro-JC.....longer does not mean better. I had the privillege to play Warren.....wah piang...not so long...but damm difficult for me leh. Think the challenge is what should we based on to determine the tough-ness of the course...slope rating or is there others? For me, I just based on the green...any course with 2-tier green...is tough for me

From my experience, the course generally have wide and forgiving fairways. So most of the hazards may not come in play. The one and only time i played was off the white for IOI/Putra. And I was playing one of my better games then, so I felt that its not as tough as I was told.

We eventually played IOI and Palm. Between the 2, I preferred the IOI course as it was quite challenging. The Palm course has more water IIRC. Both were very enjoyable... but largely due to Birdman's tcss session, a Jap lass named Jasmine and the wonders of an organic range finder Hoho!!

IOI layout is longer and more challenging... play Palm as well. if cannot decide, make time and do 27 holes!
